Company history
The company was founded in 1963 by Mr. J. Vos, for the purpose of producing and selling modelling materials to schools in the region. This was so successful that the production facilities soon needed to be expanded, while sales developed to such an extent that the process was taken over by specialised wholesalers in the educational sector. The range was extended to include paints and glues, and the move was made to include foreign markets. By now, 48 years on, after a move from Bussum to Ermelo and further extension of the production facilities, the Havo family firm is managed by the 2nd generation. A constant factor since the establishment of Havo however, is the values which still govern our corporate culture even today: quality, reliability, continuity and service to our clients, and an open mind towards trends and changes in the market.
